Topic: Artifact presentations

Wow... this week I have never been so proud of my firsties! They are really enjoying our topic time detectives and are all participating with such an enthusiasm for learning...

All of the students did a fantastic job presenting and listening.  Here are some pictures from this week:
Thyra and Greta work together to use their research skills to find information and translate to English.

I have started getting a lot of  little visitors during fritids to add things and inspect the museum...

Come and have a look at the display in Hayley's classroom!

How was it assessed?
The IPC comes complete with it's own assessment program based on three levels of achievement: Beginning, Developing, Mastering.
The program used rubrics to describe the skills required. The results are recorded in an online database.
The students have a copy of the marking criteria to take home showing what they demonstrated and what they need to improve on for next time.

Well done my little archaeologists!
A great sportlov tip: Why not visit the history museum where you can learn more about artifacts and archaeology  http://www.historiska.se/
