This term we are working on an IPC topic called 'time detectives'. We have been learning about archaeology. During this topic we be working towards the goal:
History 1.4: Be able to find out about aspects of the past from a range of sources of information.
At school we have been learning about how to find and record information.
This week the students have an assignment to complete at home. They have also taken home an example of what we have done in class to help you out.
Attached here, and in your child's folder you will find all of the information you need including the assessment criteria.
We are going to research (find out information) about an artifact of our choice.
You are welcome to use one of the examples, or you can think of your own artifact to research.
Grade 1 History Project1 red will present their work on Thursday 19th February.
1 blue will present their work on Friday 20th February.
