End of Year Learning

Home Learning This week on Tuesday students will be bringing home their last home learning for the year. This home learning is an activity that can be used all summer.
Students may have one or two different activities depending on their needs.  - sight words practice - independent reading form Some students decided to take both activities.
English Literacy Hayley will be assessing all students and placing into literacy groups ready as a guide for the new 2nd grade teacher.
Students will also be working on many revision activities including... sight words sentence structure parts of speech
Maths During the last few weeks we will be completing our measurement unit and completing the åk1 diagnos that will provide the base of mathematics small learning groups for next years teachers.  And of course some basic skills revision.
IPC Due to sports and red days we have very few IPC lessons left, however we are currently finished with geography and will be heading into science, the last section of media magic.
Art This week will be our last official art curriculum lesson. We will be learning about Michelangelo.
