Computer Science weeks 10-13

This week in computer science we have been learning about 'computational thinking'. This is an unplugged activity about learning skills to tackle complicated problems that can arise in programming and computer science.
First we landed on planet Zuron...we had a problem...too many monsters!
The 4 steps in computational thinking are...
1) Decompose
2) Patterns
3) abstraction
4) Algorithms

We completed these steps while identifying monsters

When we were finished we made sure we were all up to date with 'stage 2' the maze.

The coming weeks...

During week 11: Stage 4 'graph paper programming' begin stage 5 'the artist'
During week 12: Finish stage 5 'the artist'
During week 13: stage 6 'Algorithms'
