It's all go here at Rådan with lots of changes coming into affect this term.
New Schedules.
Fortunately for us in first grade the changes are minimal and students will still have their Physical Education on the same days at around the same time. This means school hours are not changing at all. 9.00-14.00 Mondays and 8.15-14.00
Students will be eating snack straight after school at 14.00.
New Schedules will be available to you after they have been released by the principal.
Attendance.
This term the attendance will be dealt with faster by our staff this means that new routines will be put in place. More information coming soon.
A big thank you to all parents who are reporting absences early on schoolsoft, this is a big help.
Academics
In mathematics we will be focusing on backwards number sequence. Keep this at mind at home. There are lots of fun and easy games and conversations you can have at home to help numeracy skills.
In Literacy this term we will slowly be transitioning into more extended writing tasks while keeping up with reading books. You can expect most groups to have a book home in both english and swedish from week 4.
In IPC this term we will be working on a Media Topic.
"We now have more ways of communicating with each other than ever before. From being
able to text or phone, send emails, create our own films, share photographs, opportunities
to communicate in different ways are growing at an incredible rate. This unit looks at how
we can become really good communicators."

Library
