Home Learning/Maths week 49

This week we have been working on understanding multiplication and applying our knowledge of skip counting.

We understand the problem in words, in a picture and in maths language.

Before learning the multiplication tables 'by memory' it is important that students understand what the 'times' means. Here is an example of a group of 10, 3 times. This means we can skip count in 10s, 3 times.  (some students may use fingers to help.)

This week students have some similar problems for home learning.
